The Bahamas Medical Council wishes to inform that the office of the Council is transitioning into a paperless and cashless system.

The current SARS-2 Covid 19 pandemic has drastically changed the way we live and do business. It will have a huge impact on us as individuals, as a society and as a work force.

Going forward, applications for registration and licensure, renewals, replacement of documents and requests for a Certificate of Good Standing are to be made via The Bahamas Medical Council’s application Website at www.bahamasmedicalcouncil.com. The website will be going live beginning October 1, 2020.

The Bahamas Medical Council will no longer accept cash as a form of payment, effective immediately. We will only accept cheques, money orders and bank transfers. Scotia Bank account holders will be able to select The Bahamas Medical Council as a Payee in the online banking platform.

Any in person assistance will be accommodated by appointment only. Appointments will be available Monday, Wednesday and Friday between the hours of 9:00am to 12:00pm.
